This book is pretty good. one of my friends gave it to me as a birthday present last year, and i didn't get around to reading it for a long time. i honestly didn't think it was going to be a good book. it is almost appropriate for anyone any age, so i wouldn't read it to little kids. It is about this small town that suddenly has a murder. The main character owns a little shop, and she makes
cookies. at one point the book actually includes recipes for vairous cookies that are mentioned in the story, and i tried out the chocolate chip crisps, and they are really good. i want to try all the cookies in the book, they sound so good, ginger snaps, sugar cookies, cherry chocolate, lemon bars.. yum! there wasn't any action in the book until the last few chapters where the main character comes face to face with the killer and doesn't know it until the character pulls out a gun. and i just couldn't figure out who had murdered 2 people until the main character was in the same room as the killer, then it just hit me. i think i was more interested in the cookies and how they came to be.
next read: eragon (i've already read this one, but i haven't read the third, and i don't remember what happened in the first two, so now i have to go back and read them)

Mmm...makes me want to eat some cookies. When are you coming again? You should make me cookies. =) Or at least post the recipes!
i'll post the recipes later, for sure! i am coming out with my friends on the 3rd to the 10th. i think i might only spend half the time in logan, like the 3rd to the 7th and then see if i can get grandma carter to take us in on the 8th to the 10th. something like that. well grandpa said that he wanted me to make some cookies, so i guess i can make a whole bunch and spread around the love! :)
