I really love having my windows open. Whether it is in the car (especially my sunroof!), or at home i love being able to have my windows open. especially if it is warm enough outside to leave them open all night! i don't know what it is about it, but i always feel calmer and refreshed if they are open. today i opened the ones in my room and then just a couple in the kitchen. i got a nice 
draft going now. i just wish we could get some screens on the windows in the kitchen, then i won't have to sit in there and make sure no bugs get in or anything. I feel spring coming on! yeah!

I am the same way Elicia! I love having the windows open - makes everything smell better, gets the must out.
I hope you turned off the furnace when you did that!
today was almost 80 degrees outside, so i opened a bunch of windows and vacuumed like crazy! i feel like i'm trapped in with a lot of dust and cat fur.

I also love it, we usually have the window open these days, it feels nice. Even when its a bit colder it's nice to have the fresh air. Except for soon we'll have to keep it closed. The new babies bed is right underneath the window, and that's the only spot for it.
Not only do I dream of a slippery slide in doors, but I dream of a bed in an alcove that has open windows on all three sides.
Once I saw a docu of a house that was built about 1901 by a very rich man for his family. One of his daughters had a health problem that was helped by fresh night air. So.. he built her bed in a round capsule. In the day time you could see the bed and it had a solid wall behind it, except it was round horizontally. When she got in the bed and pulled the round part in towards the room it opened up outside - it was a half round cylander, horizontal. It was screened in. Such a fun bed. She could look right up at the stars. AND it was on the second floor.
