Ode to my big brother

Things that remind me of my big brother:
Music - especially when i am driving with him,
silly i know, but there is a lot of music that i listen to because he played it in his car for me, so that i could hear it.
Video Games - my favorite times/memories is when we were playing some little game. One of the games i really enjoyed playing with him was Super Smash Bros. my only problem with that, was that he would always beat me. He's just naturally great at video games. give him a new game and lots of time, he could beat it in 1 or 2 days.
Everyone who is taller than me! - I'm short, it's time for me to admit it. when i look up to talk to people it reminds me how short i am, and how tall he is. and how jealous i am of that height. even a couple more inches would satisfy me!
my bathroom - we used to share a bathroom.
and then he moved out. but when he moved back, he started to use mom and dad's bathroom so i still have my own! which i do really like, because then we aren't fighting for it, i have more drawer space for all my hygeine junk.
My bed - my big brother has started to sleep on air matresses. he buys ones that he can sleep straight on, and not curl up. he got tired of the bed he has had for probably 6 years. well he gave me his bed, and i was really excited because i have had a day bed since i was 11 and i hated how i couldn't sprawl out and get comfortable. now i can sleep any way i want to. i can sleep with my arms and legs spread out, i can sleep diagnol, i can sleep in a ball horizontally. i really like my bed and i appreciate him giving me it. i love my room all the more for it!
Ben has had some great influence on me, and i wish i could return the favor, but what can the youngest of the family do? I want to do things for him, but it turns out that he helps me even more than i can help him. mostly with picking me up from work, or driving me to king soopers to pick up some toothpaste or something.

So all i can say is Thanks Ben!! And Happy Birthday you oldie!!

I'm like......sand.

You go out and lay all over the sand on a nice day and watch the sunset on the ocean, absorbed entirely by the beautiful scene before you.

It's only when you get home and find that sand has gotten into EVERYTHING that you give sand a little attention.

:P
