Little update on my life!! yay!!

Be Warned!!! IT IS LONG!!

So last week i had my competition... it was fun, but i did so bad! in the first half hour I managed to drop my knife, over cook my tomatoes, and look really silly with the wrong hat. but once i got to actually cooking and not showing my knife skills, i think i did alright. I had to much liquid in my rice, so it was soggy and sticky, which is exactly what they did not want! my sauce was a little thicker than i wanted.. and my cucumber boats weren't all that great..
so overall a great competition! (can you guys hear my sacasm?) I did have fun and it was only for my senior project so i guess i shouldn't complain. i only have a week left to work on it before i present it to the judges.. so i'm excited!!! i'm also excited because this week i get to go with ben and dad down to moab and hike around, camp and get so much off my mind!!
Last week i also went to prom, after the competition so i was really busy, i'm sure you all remember me talking about how i wanted to go and how everyone said that it wasn't going to me memorable.... well you were right! actual prom was boring. i had fun the first hour, but hated it the rest cause i got really tired, the music was really bad and inappropriate... but when we went to after prom i woke up and had a huge blast. so after prom i will remember more than prom itself. getting ready for prom was fun though. i had my hair cut by my friends sister, and i really love it... although no one at home has noticed yet. lets see if they will get the hint this way! then she did all of our hair. mine looked like Belle's in Beauty and the Beast. and i was really excited because she put so much spray in it so it would hold the curls. my friend Sarah was freaking out because our dresses looked similar. i didn't care cause it's just a dress. but she was constantly talking about how we would look alike. i was close on just going out and buying a really bad dress just to make her happy. but she got over it and we had fun. We ate at Katlin's house and they did this elaborate set up. they made their tv trays look really nice,
and they had candles on each of them with their finest dishes. and they read the first few lines of Be our Guest from Beauty and the Beast, and we called the resaurant Tiramisu, which is now somewhere out in Golden-we don't know cause our parents drove us (ha ha)-, because we ate more of an Italian theme dinner. Katlin's sister Becca was our waitress and we called her Maria, and it was so much fun! and then we went to prom and one of my guy friends had me dance with this one guy whose date had ditched him (silly girl). he was nice and he was amazed that i don't like rap or country, he said i was perfect because of that.. and i was just like.. okay...
Then we went to after prom and we met up with some of our friends and went bowling. i kept egging on our friend Zach, cause he's super competitive and i kept telling him i would beat him at all this stuff. and i did! we played lazer tag, my first time ever, i really liked it and wanted to go again. we played some arcade games,
of which i am very bad at it. and just hung out for a while. they did have this ride that would take you in a circle, and you could spin yourself and the other three attached to your seat as fast as you wanted to,
i think that was my favorite! anyway... that was my day last saturday! i only have a few more weeks of school and then i am out of there!! yay!!

P.S. Sorry if the pics are to small! i'll get dad to help me with them and post some more that can be seen bigger! I'm just not good at figuring out all this blogging gadgets and such! if you haven't noticed.. my blog is really boring and not decorated. i just need a class i guess!!
