EMT's are so funny!!

okay, so this is an old story, but a goodie. a few weeks ago i was at work, getting my tables ready for the 5:00 crowd that comes in, and i was running to the back to get carafaes of water. and then right as i was reaching up to get them from the shelf, i noticed that my finger started to sting, it was a slight sting, but it was enough to make me look down at my finger. I had a cut right where your finger bends at the middle, and there was a good amount of blood, but not a whole lot. so i went to my manager's office and opened up the first aid kit, and there were no band aids! you would think there would be some in a kitchen right? i thought so to! so i told my manager and she had me go to the hostess' station and wait for the EMTs. i waited for 20 mins before they came and found me. they had said they went through the kitchen and was looking everywhere for me. so they took me to the private dining room and stuck this thing on my finger, to check my heart rate i'm guessing. and they took my blood pressure, asked me alot of questions about my health and family member's health. they even asked me if i had bird flu! I said yes, just to be joking and they thought i was totally serious! all the waiters and waitresses thought i had cut my finger off! they kept passing the room and only a few would come into the room and asked questions, only to be shooed off by the EMTs. then they put on some neosporian and slapped a band aid and said i was good!
