today in peer counceling, we talked a little about 9/11/2001. and where we were. I remember that i was in Middle school, and i had a friend who was pulled out of school, in the middle of P.E. She told me that her mom was freaking out, and something happened, but wouldn't tell me anything else. when i got home i remember seeing a burning building on tv and not really caring about what was happening. Mostly because i was 11 when it happened. My friends over here said that they woke up to it, and couldn't decide whether to go to school or not. Where were you when this tragedy happened?

this year i was asleep all day :)
when it happened, i was in band class in illinois and they had us have a moment of silence. but i didn't even know what was going on or what twin towers meant. i thought maybe a little passenger plane got lost and crashed. then i got home and saw what happened and i still didn't really get it.
I was working the early morning shift at Inovar, and the ladies there always listened to talk radio so we heard it over the radio...this lady that worked there freaked out because she had a son that worked down town NY...so she went home.
There were also two guys that worked there that were from Iraq and everyone thought it was really weird that they were laughing that day....
