WOW!! a second post in one week! that's amazing!!

Okay, so i wanted to post at least one time about Greta (sorry dad!). I have been really amazed at how big she has gotten since the first day we had her. the pics do embiggen, but it is bad quality since they are off my phone. here is the first day we had her pic (that is mom's shoe) :

she is such a smart dog! a week ago we had put little cardboard doors in front of the stairs so she couldn't go downstairs or upstairs because she didn't know how to go up and down stairs. and she picked that up so easily, it took only a few days. and then she kept complaining about how we tried to keep her in one area, blocking all the "exits". really it was just some boxes and a folding table that kept her in the family room so that we could keep and eye on her. mainly to make sure she didn't go in the house. i think she has finally been trained to wait and go outside, and let us know when she needs to go out, at least that is how she is with me. mom trained her to sit and she picked that up quickly. she is also learning how to fetch. that one is taking some time because she will go get the ball, but then come back halfway and sit down a chew the ball, but she has been more likely to bring it back when she is in the mood for the game. now we are working on getting her to come when you call her. i've been working on that, and dad is trying to train her to melt, or you might say it as lay down. she is getting it and i am totally surprised at how quick she can pick up things! i never really was around puppies, i guess you could say that i was when i was like one, but i don't remember it. so it's a great lesson for me to learn. More learning of patience, love and have a little fun on the way!
