Candy Canes

Have left over candy canes that you just don't want to eat? i know i do! here's a great tip. heat up some milk to a good heat, one that can melt candy canes, stick that milk in a blender (especially if you don't have a nifty hot chocolate maker like me) break up some or your favorite candy canes, flavor doesn't matter, just as long as the flavors do go together. turn on the blender with the top on of course, and blend away. pour and drink. it is good, depending on if you like the flavor of your candy cane. if you are going to use pepper mint, throw some chocolate mix in with it, and enjoy peppermint hot chocolate! enjoy!!

i sure love candy cane in my hot chocolate. today i am going to try some of the cream from the middle of an oreo in my hot chocolate. weird al has an oreo song, and he mentions putting it in his coffee, so i decided to try it with hot chocolate. we'll see if it tastes good. i know it makes ice cream really REALLY good.

I am very glad to have that hint, I do have some left over candy canes that I almost tossed out. Now I know just what to do with them. Question: What can I do with the orange taffy that has a face on it. You know, they are wrapped in this paper and the faces all look funny. I have lots of that and haven't any ideas at all.

You could probably try them in the Hot "cocoa". or you can cut then into little pieces, carefully! and stick them on a cake with icing...
