Dianna asked me if i still like Egyptian stuff, and i still love it! i have really gotten into learning about biblical stories dealing with Egypt, but i still love the history and the "mysteriousness" of it. I have recently been amazed with the Incans and the Mayans, because i feel like they were just "left overs" (for lack of a better term) from the huge war with the Lamanites and the Nephites, where the Lamanites set out to destroy the Nephites and if they denied their god, then they lived. I always imagined Moroni traveling through the forest, carrying the most important thing in our lives. i really want to go down there some day and see the pyramids and think that i was standing in Zarahemla. ahh... ancient history!

That would be so sweet!
Very fun! I used to be so obsessed with Egypt. I would love to go their someday. The ruins in Mexico are amazing - our guide was LDS, & named Moroni (mor-o-nee), since he knew we were LDS he changed the tour for us a little & pointed out gospel/temple things in the ruins...it was incredible! You should really go someday, you'd love it! Oh, he also gave us this great carving his wife did of a Book of Mormon king confering the priesthood on his son - can't think of his name right now. Obviously I need to read my scriptures more...=)
Now all I can think of is the Mayan resteraunt in provo area. Mmmm....the Mayan.
oh that is so sweet!! ah, i really REALLY want to go now!
