Okay, yes i'm going to talk about the sacrament!
Today in church i was thinking about the sacrament, well, when we were taking the sacrament, obviously, and i wondered why do we eat and drink the bread and water? Why? well i asked dad and we talked a little about it, and he said that it represents all the things that Christ had given for us, and that the reason we eat and drink of it was that it brings it to a closer, personal level, instead of just knowing that the bread is for his flesh, and the water is for his blood. i thought that made a lot of sense, and when i looked up sacrament up in the Topical Guide, it said "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life." so now i'm really thankful for this blessing that the lord has given us!

We take the sacrament every week, so it becomes normal for us. It's good to ponder a little more deeply once in a while - helps us remember what a blessing it is to have the sacrament.
I think it's also good to wonder why things are, or why we do things & gain that testimony for yourself. I love taking the sacrament and miss it - our church is at 9am, peak morning sickness for me, so we try to go to another afternoon ward when possible. Stinkin' baby...=)
ha ha! at least you are trying!
Its hard to make it sometimes...I know when I was pregnant or when Wellsy was a newborn we didn't make it a lot.
But dont feel quilty Barb.
quilty? you mean don't feel guilty? i know when i feel bad i like to quilt! ;)
I love the sacrament because it has so much symbolism. It reminds me of the temple and how much I dont know and need to learn.
