Yuk!

Yesterday i found out that i have the cold, or the flu... something. I blame it on my friend Chris, who cooks with me in my Essentials class. he got sick on tuesday, and we cooked both Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Blah... Also, yesterday the young women in my ward was holding a daddy daughter date, but dad didn't want to go, i was a little sad but bounced right back when mom told me that we would go out to eat at my choice restaurant. I decided to go to this Italian place mom and dad went to a while back, and they bragged about it forever! Mom made sure i had a seat where i could watch the kitchen, they had a window like hole in the wall (for lack of better words) and you could watch them make your food. I saw the head chef (how do i know he was the head chef? he was wearing a red hat while the other guy was wearing a black one) take out my angel hair pasta! it was really cool. They had olive oil fused with a variety different herbs. Their bread was good, the soup i got was delicious, and the pasta was great. The only think i didn't like was the capers that was on my pasta. i spent most of the time picking them out. they have such a bitter taste and oil-like juice in them. it was gross. The waiter kept giving me weird looks for doing it, but next time, i'll know to keep them out of my food. I officially dislike a food!
