Hmmm...

well, i'm not sure what to blog about today... nothing interesting has happened yet, so why not something about girls camp?
this stake has a ton of traditions when it comes to girls camp. one of the traditions they do is that they put out these quilts that have been sewn, and we are able to tie the knots. if you work on the quilts for a half hour, your name will be put into a drawing. every half hour that you do equals the amount of times your name is put in. at the end of the day they draw names for all the quilts that was finished that day. i didn't really want a quilt, i just liked working on them and talking to everyone around it. Honest. then i saw this one quilt and i thought it was so cute. we even tied it in a different pattern that all the other quilts done. i oversaw that quilt and joked about if i won a quilt and someone one that quilt, me and my friends were going to put masks on and steal it. jokingly of course. and i won one that night and it had smiley faces in different colors on a black background, and this one girls wanted to trade, so i did because i had a plan. the blanket she gave me was made out of the same material as some pj pants i made myself, so i thought it was really funny. I went to the sisters that were in charge of the quilts, asked nicely, and was able to trade for the one i wanted since it wasn't given away that night. here is a lovely pic of part of the blanket!
